General conditions for ordering and shopping

Aiasõber offers for its clients two different shopping channels. They are:  a web shop online at and possibility to visit our sale garden for shopping, which is located at Ändi tee 18, Tüki village, Tartu County, Estonia. The postal code EE61411.

The Parcel will be brought to Your home or to an another address indicated on Your order. If you wish to receive the package in Your local post office or via Omniva parcel terminal (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania), then You have to do statement on Your order. NB! All orders are to be completed and packaged in Aiasõber store house in Estonia.
Courier service to every location in Estonia and the European Union 
Postal charges:
ESTONIA. Normal postal charge 9.90 EUR and applies to normal size of packages (38 x 64 x 19 cm) which can accommodate 8-12 kg depending on the composition of the order.

Maxi pack postal charge.  Large scale or several 2-3 liter pots in the active stage of growth of plants containing the order is valid of postal charge 9.90 EUR (38 x 64 x 39 cm). High growth plants (some trees and shrubs or perennials during flowering time if there is not possible to cut them back enough for delivery) applies the extra postal charge 20 euros per package.

Other countries of EU. Postal charce depends on composition of order and weight of parcel. Normally between 20 € to 70 €. Contact us to get exact postal charge to Your country. We are able to despatch our products only to private customers in EU Countries.

Good to know that weight of plant pots with soil are following:

  • 0.5 liter (P9) weighing 0.3-0.5 kg, with plant and soil
  • 1.0 liter (P11) weighing 0.5 to 0.9 kg
  • 1.5 liter plant pot weight is 1.2-1.4 kg

NB! Aiasõber reserves the right not to fill orders containing growing plants if there will reveal a risk to the health of plants. In this case, You are welcome to visit for purchase them in our sale garden in open hours.

Payment could be done after You have received parcel containing Your order. Ordering goods from Aiasõber, the customer will be accompanied by the payment obligation. You find an Invoice in Your parcel. Payment should be done via Bank Wire Transfer as indicated on an Invoice within the time limit (normally 14 calendar days from delivery date). Aiasõber does not allow the purchase of goods for hire. We are sorry.

ORDER DESPATCH Orders are despatched by parcel carrier seasonally. Bare rooted perennials and flower bulbs for planting in spring we send out from 15th of March as long as goods last. Growing plants in pots we send out from April 20.  Pot plants wintered on the open ground we start send out as soon as they start growing.  Flower bulbs for planting in the autumn we start send out from 30th of August as long as goods last. If your order contains products from different groups, then Aiasõber if possible tries to send the whole order in one packages accounting with the times of planting. If this is not possible, then the order will be sent in two parts. Orders arrived during winter we send out as quickly as possible, but not later than 20 of May. Orders are filled in the order they are received, so it is normal that the previous subscribers can receive their ordered goods early in April or beginning of May. Aiasõber is able to fill orders since June during 5 working days after the order reached by Aiasõber.

EXPORT ORDERS. We are able to despatch our products only to private customers in other EU Countries outside Estonia. Payment must be made in Euros. We regret that we are unable to accept orders from private customers for despatch outside the EU. All Aiasõber prices include VAT 20% where applicable. We reserve the right to revise any prices in the event of unforeseen circumstances or a change in the VAT rate.

PICK-UP YOURSELF  Pre-ordered items will be completed free of charge and it receives during opening hours at our Sales Garden cash desk. Aiasõber will inform of the existence of goods over the phone or via e-mail. Orders will be filled in order of arrival. We accept payment for purchases Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro and MasterCard. Cash payments are also suitable. There is an opportunity to register a regular customer of Sale Garden using Your ID card and to get 5% loyalty discount. Sale Garden’s loyalty discount does not apply to deliveries of orders sent by Postal service.

CAUTION PICTURES!  Product Images are as a visual guide and representation only.  All images on the web site are digitally processed. The colour photography of plant parts can vary depending on the lighting conditions at the time of the shooting used shooting mode, photographic equipment, plant developmental stage and many other factors. From the foregoing, we recommend you to read the descriptions of the plants that are available by clicking on the opening image. The descriptions of the plants are an Estonian language. Sorry! Information given about products is to the best of our knowledge, and is for general guidance only. All dimensions and capacities are approximate. Also please remember that environmental factors can affect plant growth.

ORDER CONFIRMATION Completing an order using the web-shop Aiasõber sends an automatic order confirmation to the client by e-mail indicated on an order. Aiasõber requests all subscribers placing orders always carefully to check for the accuracy of the data to avoid errors and possible troubles later on.

Aiasõber’s representative will contact to the client if necessary. Can be ordered throughout the year but delivering of the goods will take place in accordance with the dates of normal time of growing the plants.

RIGHT TO CANCEL Orders for perishable and personalised goods may be cancelled up to the point of delivery but not once delivery has been made.

Orders for non-perishable and non-personalised goods may be cancelled from the time the order is placed up to 14 calendar days after receipt of the goods. Cancellation could be done without any indication of the reason. To exercise the right to cancel please make a clear statement by email , or posted letter. Cancellation must include your full name, address, contact number, date of receiving the parcel or preparation of the cancellation and clear statement: I wish cancel my order or I wish return the goods. Alternatively, please complete and submit our Cancellation Form. This form is available on request to our customer service team.

EFFECTS OF CANCELLATION If you cancel your order for non-perishable or non-personalised goods after they have been delivered then please return them to us, at your own cost, within 14 days of cancellation. Please retain proof of postage. If the item is very large then we can arrange collection for you and will charge you for this at cost. We will reimburse you with all payments received, including the cost of delivery. We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss of value of any goods supplied if the loss is as a result of unnecessary handling by you. Please return the items in their original packaging.

The reimbursement will be made without undue delay and not later than:
a) 14 days after the day we received back from you any returned goods
b) (if earlier) 14 days after you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we were informed of your decision to cancel the order.

All Aiasõber products should reach you in perfect condition, just as they left us. If you are dissatisfied in any way with their condition on arrival, please let us know within 14 days. We are only liable for the cost of the goods (plus any carriage charge) as quoted on the website. The customer may lose the right to cancel if he has his own acts or omissions caused the deterioration of the goods.

NB! Live plants belong to the category of perishable goods and therefore Aiasõber reserves for itself the right to require the return of the goods in the event of a reduction in the value of the goods, the potential for a fair fee. It is not possible to return the plants, for which the client has not taken care of while the saplings were in his possession, and which therefore are struggling to survive or are even unlived.

The customer is allowed to make sure of goodness and viability of the live plants only by way as it is normally allowed to do in the shop or in garden centre. The plants must not be crushed to squeeze or otherwise cause damage.  If the returned goods are damaged the customer is entitled to recover the goods to Aiasõber decrease in value due to damage to the full cost of goods in addition postage. If the goods were damaged before reaching the customer is recommended that as soon as possible to inform Aiasõber by phone +372 552 9369 or +372 735 1278, but can also be sent by e-mail to  If possible, please include a photo.

Goods can not be returned, which the condition has deteriorated, by reason, that the customer has taken the parcel not at time agreed and in result of that the parcel stays in post Office.

Aiasõber draws the customer’s attention to the fact that the given phone number must be realistically in use and answering to phone calls. The same applies to the e-mail address; it must be a real functioning. Aiasõber asks all customers placing orders always carefully to check the accuracy of the contact information that would have prevented any misunderstanding.

CREDIT TERMS AND CONDITIONS Customer’s order is submitted to the sales contract between the customer and Aiasõber. Aiasõber agrees to a contract, if it is to comply with the order. By submitting the order to buy goods from Aiasõber with payment within 14 days after receipt of the goods, you give to the seller the right to process your personal information from public sources and to check your credit profile. Aiasõber reserves the right not to comply with an order of deferred payment, if it appears that the client has the experienced financial difficulties. Aiasõber allows buying only adult persons at least 18 years of age. Parcels will be given to the customer personally by Postal courier. Customer’s signature given to Postal packing slip confirms that the shipment has been received and the customer is aware of and agrees with Aiasõber’s ordering conditions, and also undertakes to pay for the ordered goods in accordance with an Invoice. In case of overdue invoices will be added to the cost of sending a reminder letter to the principal 4.70 EUR. In case delay in the payment of invoice Aiasõber has the right to demand payment of the amount due to late penalties of 0.15% per calendar day. Aiasõbr’s has the right to assign and pledge a debt to third parties. Overdue for recovery costs shall be borne by the customer. The limitation period for claims between the parties is a requirement of 10 years fell due.

The customer agrees that his personal data published by the company Aiasõber: customer identification code, the beginning and the ending date of a payment default, shall be forwarded to AS Krediidiinfo and allow these data to be processed as credit information managed by the credit register of the credit decision-making purposes. AS Krediidiinfo customer data to the right to get the customer to comply with the financial obligation arising from the contract. The right to transfer the customer’s data to Krediidiinfo AS occurs, if the customer has not fulfilled the financial obligation arising.

DISPUTES Arising from performance of the contract to resolve disputes through negotiation. Failing agreement, the dispute shall be settled at the Consumer Protection Board, which operates consumer complaints (for consumer disputes) committee. Consumer Complaints Commission's exercise of the right of recourse to the right of the customer does not refer a dispute to court. CPB is the address of the Peace Court 2, 10130 Tallinn. Estonia.

GOOD TO KNOW  Aiasõber is not liable for the risks of weather and agro-techniques used by customer in growing the live plants. Any weather conditions and agro-techniques may at any point of time to affect to the growth of plants and may cause the growth of plants on unexpected directions.

Aiasõber shall not be liable for violation of the terms of the contract, if Aiasõber violated the terms of the contract due to force majeure.

The information on the packages and plant pots is not sufficient for a successful growing the live plants and for gardening. This is just a brief description of the peculiarities of the plants. The client has full responsibility for ownership of the necessary for the successful horticultural knowledge of possession. Aiasõber only advises about the main characteristics of the plants and on the general growing tips.

The bought live planting material should be kept until planting in such a way as to avoid excessive humidity, excessive dryness, excessively high temperatures and freezing. Do not store Your live plants in the same room with fruits and chemically active substances. The live plants should be placed until the final planting in a shady place, but not in the dark.  Should be possibility to protect them from frost, if necessary, and should be able to take care of them.

Exhibited assortment on the website and in the catalogue not fully overlap in product range at our Sale Garden. Some products may be greater than expected demand due to run out sooner.  At the beginning of the season is the assortment within the rich, but by the end of the season, the customer must take into account the fact that the 2/3 or more of the assortment is sold out.  The assortment will be supplemented by the new season starts. During the season, wherever possible, supplement our assortment could be limited. Aiasõber cannot guarantee to the customer the possibility of obtaining the sold out varieties.

PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION Aiasõber respects your privacy and hands your data published to Aiasõber information confidentiality in accordance with all national and European legislation. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully. We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We may use cookies to assemble your order, but they contain no personal information. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future. The type of information we will collect about you includes: your name and address, phone number, email address, Your personal code (ID code). We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. If there will be found difference in the prices on web site and at Sales Garden then are valid always prices at sales garden. To improve service and safety reasons there are installed video surveillance system at the Nursery Garden.

As a loyal customer of our Sale Garden You can register using Your ID Card. The operation is carried out in a dozen or so seconds. Customer loyalty discount of 5% will apply immediately. For getting the discount the customer will have his ID card with in future and he has to present it to a customer service representative before purchasing paid for. Late claims will not be considered.

HOME GARDEN SHOWS    are priced. The Home garden ticket is possible to buy at market garden's cash desk in opening hours. Cost of ticket 2 euros per person in age over 15 years. There is separately possible to order guiding gardener to lead the Home Garden show. Extra fee for guiding 15 euros not depending on number of people in group.
