SCHMIDT’S miniature Bosnian Pine Zones: 4-8. Named the American Conifer Society’s Collector’s Conifer of the year 2009. A true miniature of the beautiful Bosnian Pine. Hardy and slow growing with short dark green needles forming a small, compact 1 foot mound at 10 years. Takes to trimming as mini pine tree. Highly desirable for conifer lovers in the general landscape, Japanese Garden or small scenes. Also excellent as a container plant such as Bonsai, patio plant or troughs.
